The Friends of the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge "position has been to influence the owner and state agencies to ensure that the landfill operates according to the appropriate laws and regulations and to stop polluting the Tualatin River. If, however, the landfill continues to pollute the River as it has in the past, the Friends may advocate for its closure."
